Our Story

While searching for a legendary New Zealand vineyard, A father and son were told by a local, Patti, to look for the “Lone Nikau.” After a fruitless search, they returned to Patti and told him they saw no “lonely cow.” He informed them that it was not a lonely cow they should be looking for, but a single nikau (nee-cow) tree. This true story is what inspired our name. Just like their hunt for the vineyard, this wine is unhurried, easy, and intentional. With spicy citrus notes, this wine is best served chilled and shared amongst friends.
